How to connect a laptop with a television very easily

Watching movies can be done via cellphones and laptops. However, many people prefer to watch on television because they are more satisfied with a wider and wider screen.

However, there are still many people who do not know how to connect a laptop computer to a television. To connect this device, there are several ways you can do.

1. Using an HDMI cable

Currently, most televisions already have an HDMI port. HDMI is what can be used to connect a laptop computer to a TV.

Before connecting the HDMI cable to the television, the user needs to make sure that the laptop computer used also has an HDMI port. Because, some "old school" laptop computers only have a VGA port.

Then connect the HDMI cable from the laptop computer to the port on the television.

After that you can set the enter source on your television. Usually, several options are available such as antenna, RCS cable, and HDMI. Select the "HDMI" option.

Automatically, the laptop computer screen will appear on the TV screen. You can also set the resolution to suit your television.

2. Using a VGA cable

If you have an old-school laptop computer and it doesn't have an HDMI port, you can use the available VGA port.

However, keep in mind, this cable is only capable of connecting video. Unlike HDMI, which can simultaneously connect audio.

In other words, even though it is connected to a television, the sound that comes out will still come from the laptop.

To use VGA is not much different from connecting it using HDMI.

You have to turn on the TV and laptop computer first then connect the TV and laptop computer using a VGA cable

The next step, press the enter key on the television and select the PC or RGB option from the list. To manage via a laptop, you can open the Settings option, select System, then Display and select "TV option".

3. Using USB-C

If your laptop computer and television both have a USB-C port, you can take advantage of this port. You can directly connect it to the TV directly with a USB-C cable.

Just connect the USB-C port of the laptop computer and television with a cable, connect the two devices, and select the correct enter on the TV.

But not all USB-C ports can carry video signals, so be sure to check that first.

If there is no USB-C port on the television, the user must use an additional adapter. Thus, USB-C from a laptop computer can be converted to HDMI.

4. Using Google Chromecast

If you don't want to deal with cables, you can use the Google Chromecast.

The Google Chromecast is indeed more expensive than an HDMI cable, however, this device will make it easier for users to stream to a television.

If you already have a Chromecast you can plug the Chromecast into the HDMI port on your television.

Then download the Google Home app on your phone, and select the Start option. You will then be asked to confirm that Google Account you want to use for your Chromecast.

Then Google Home will verify the connection with the Chromecast on the TV by displaying a unique code.

So that's all for my discussion, hopefully it's useful.
