How to quickly create a hotspot on a laptop without an application





 Hotspot on a laptop computer can be with and without the application. CMD is a Windows default application that is capable of translating a command line in the form of text to be executed by the Windows operating system. To open CMD you can press the Start button then in the search field type “cmd.” Then right-click on the application and select “Run as Administrator.”

The 2nd Way to Make Hotspot on Laptop

Apart from using CMD, you can also use the advert hoc facility to turn your laptop computer into a hotspot. With Ad Hoc you can share a net connection and data from one laptop computer to another laptop computer wirelessly up to 10 meters. The trick is to type the Start menu, then in the search box type "ad hoc" then Enter. Follow the Wizard process by pressing the Next button. After that fill in the desired SSID name and password then Next. After successful just click Close. From another device, turn on WiFi and look for the WiFi name according to the SSID you created earlier, enter the password, and you are immediately connected to the internet.






How to Make Hotspot on Laptop with Application

If the process of activating the hotspot without the above application is quite inconvenient. You can use third-party applications as an alternative. There are various applications that can turn a laptop computer into a hotspot, but the simplest is mHotspot.


Run mHotspot and check the option to install additional apps (bloatware). Click Next then fill in your Hotspot SSID name and password. If successful you can start by clicking the Start Hotspot button. To stop it simply click the Stop Hotspot button. You can use web sharing with apps, whether you're connecting to a wired or wireless web.
